Project Professionals Group, aims to use 2010 to further target project cargo clients in the renewable energy industry. PPG general manager Kevin Stephens said the network would share a booth with its USA member TransGroup Worldwide Logistics at the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) Exhibition from May 23-26 at the Dallas Convention Center in Texas.

Mr Stephens said a similar arrangement at last year’s AWEA Exhibition had proved very successful attracting new business enquiries from major wind power manufacturers. “One of PPG’s key objectives in 2010 is to consolidate the profile and brand we have established as a problem solver for the renewable energy industry, and this is the message we will be promoting again at AWEA and other key events in the coming months,” Mr Stephens said.
“This is the largest annual wind conference and exhibition in the world with over 23,000 attendees and 1280 exhibitors, and it is a great opportunity to network with manufacturers and vendors that typically work on a global basis and are seeking a one-stop-shop for transportation services that PPG offers.”
Meanwhile, TransGroup and fellow PPG member Express Transport in India will team up to represent the Project Professionals Group at Cargo Shop (Specialised Heavyweight, Over Dimensional Cargo and Project cargo) South Asia 2010 in Mumbai from March 25-27. Mr Stephens said this was another opportunity to promote capabilities to project cargo markets in and out of South Asia. “This is also a unique opportunity to target energy companies involved with wind, oil and gas and thermal power and promote PPG’s international supply chain solutions network,” Mr Stephens said. |
